किसान उत्पादक संगठन (एफपीओ) क्या है? किसान उत्पादक संगठन (एफपीओ) किसानों का एक समूह है जो अपनी सौदेबाजी की शक्ति बढ़ाने और अपनी आर्थिक स्थिति में सुधार करने के उद्देश्य से एक कंपनी या संगठन बनाने के लिए एक साथ आते हैं।

हम विशेष रूप से सब्जियों और फलों की खेती से जुड़े किसानों के लिए एक सहकारी समिति शुरू करने की योजना बना रहे हैं। अक्सर आपने समाचारों में देखा होगा कि सब्जियों और फलों के दाम कभी बहुत अधिक और कभी औसत से कम हो रहे हैं। ये दोनों स्थितियाँ, सतत कृषि विकास के लिए उपयुक्त नहीं हैं। एक अन्य पहलू सब्जी की खेती के दौरान भारी मात्रा में रसायनों और कीटनाशकों का उपयोग और कटाई के बाद के अनैतिक रासायनिक उपचार है। आजकल जैविक फल और सब्जी के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ रही है। जैविक खेती अपनाने के लिए किसानों में उचित प्रेरणा है। सब्जी और फल उत्पादक किसानों के लिए सहकारी समितियों का विकास करके इन सामाजिक समस्याओं का समाधान किया जा सकता है। एक अन्य पहलू पर विचार करने की आवश्यकता है, सब्जियों और फलों के भंडारण के लिए उचित कोल्ड स्टोरेज सुविधाओं का अभाव है। उचित विपणन और वितरण प्रणाली के अभाव में ये नरम फसलें बाजार में पहुंचने से पहले ही खराब हो जाती हैं। उचित वितरण और विपणन की कमी के कारण कई बार किसानों को इसके अनाज का उचित मूल्य नहीं मिल पाता है। यदि हर जिले में सहकारी समितियां विकसित हो जाएं तो ऐसे सामूहिक प्रयास से किसानों की कई समस्याओं का समाधान हो सकता है।
We are plan to initiate a cooperative society of farmers especially with those who engaged with vegetable and fruits farming. Often, you have listen in news that the rate of vegetables and fruits are fluctuating some time very high and some time below average. Both these conditions,are not suitable for the sustainable agricultural growth. One another aspect is the application of huge amount of chemicals and pesticides during farming of vegetable and unethical chemical post harvesting treatment. Now a days awareness of organic fruit and vegetable increases. There is a proper motivation among farmers for adopting organic farming. These societal problems can be solved by developing cooperative societies for vegetable and fruit producing farmers. Another aspect is need to be consider, there is lack of proper cold storage facilities for vegetables and fruits storage. In absence of proper marketing and distribution system these soft crops detoriate before reaching to market. Due to lack of proper ditribution and marketing farmers many time do not get appropriate price for its croup. In case cooperative societies may develop in every district, many problem s of farmers can be solved by such a team efforts.
